Tulips Beauty Saloon & Spa

We are located down in the cellar of Suprabha Complex on Sri Vasavi Temple Road. The shop is right near the old Vijaya Bank in V V Puram. Being in a cellar means the temperature stays a bit cooler than the busy street outside, which is a relief during the hot days in Bangalore. I have been running Tulips Beauty Saloon & Spa for quite a few years now. It is a quiet spot, away from the constant noise of the traffic. We do a variety of things here, including haircuts, facials, and some basic spa work. The space is not very large, but I have organized it so that everyone has a bit of privacy. I handle most of the work myself, though I sometimes have a helper when the weekends get busy. Most of our clients are women from the local neighborhood who just want to relax for an hour. I try to keep the whole atmosphere very calm. I do not have those big, bright lights you see in the mall salons. It is more basic and comfortable here. V V Puram is a traditional part of the city, so I keep my services respectful and simple. Whether someone comes in for a quick threading or a longer treatment, I do the work carefully. I buy all my supplies from local vendors. It has been a good way to meet people and serve the community.
