Tricolour Hotel

The Tricolour Hotel is right in the thick of it over in Majestic. We are at No.15, right beside the KFC outlet on Tank Bund Road. If you know Bangalore, you know Majestic is never quiet. There is a constant sound of buses and people moving around Sangam Point and Gandhinagar. Being next to a KFC means you can always smell the food, which is either good or bad depending on how hungry you are. The hotel is a busy place because travelers are always coming in from the railway station or the bus stand nearby. Our lobby isn't huge, but it's where everything happens. We spend a lot of time checking people in and explaining where the best local spots are. The traffic outside can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we usually tell people to give themselves extra time if they are heading out. The building is at a bit of a junction, which makes it easy to find but noisy. We have a lot of regular guests who come back because they know the area well. It is a simple hotel. The rooms are kept clean, and the staff is just a bunch of regular guys working the shifts. We don't have fancy uniforms or a five-star lounge, just a place to sleep right in the heart of the city. It gets pretty chaotic during the festival seasons, but that is just life in Majestic and we are used to it.
