Tirumala Granites

Tirumala Granites is down at 22 23 in Sai Plaza, which is on the 1st Cross of Bannerghatta Road in Adugodi. If you’ve ever been to this part of the city, you know how busy Bannerghatta Road stays. We have a lot of stone and granite samples laying around the place. It gets to be a lot of physical work, so we don't wear anything fancy. Most of the day involves showing people different slabs or checking the measurements for a project. Sai Plaza is a recognizable building, and being in the 1st cross makes it slightly quieter than the main road, but not by much. We’ve got some big pieces of stone leaning against the walls, and you have to be careful walking through the rows. It’s a real hands-on business. We spend a lot of time on the phone with transporters and workers. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck in the narrow lanes, which is always a bit of a mess to clear up. We’ve been at this address for a while now. It’s a lot of lifting and keeping track of inventory. We don't have any fancy brochures; we just show people what we have in stock. It keeps us busy from morning until late evening. The guys who work here are used to the heavy lifting and the constant noise. We've had some of the same people working here for years and they know how to handle the heavy stones.
