Thirumala Enterprises

We’ve been here at Malleshwaram on Hakam Singh Road for a good while now. The shop is at number 465. It’s not a huge place, but we make it work. Most mornings start with opening the shutters and sweeping the front. You know how it is with the dust around here. People know us mostly because we don’t try to act fancy. Thirumala Enterprises is just a name on the board, really, it’s the three of us who do the actual work. We handle whatever comes through the door. Sometimes it's quiet, and we just sit and talk about the news or the weather. Other times it's a mad rush. Malleshwaram has changed a lot since we started. There are more cars now and finding parking is a nightmare for our visitors. We try to help them out where we can. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. We just do our jobs and go home to our families. If you walk down Hakam Singh Road, you’ll see our sign. It’s been there so long the paint is starting to peel a bit. We keep thinking about fixing it, but then something else comes up and we forget. That’s just how it goes in a small business. We like the neighborhood though. The tea shop next door makes the best chai, which helps on those long afternoons when the energy gets low. We just keep moving and doing what we do best.
