The Taj West End

Our place is located on 4th Main Road in Bangalore. It is a really big property and it has a lot of history to it. If you walk through the front gates, you will see all the old trees and the gardens right away. We have been here for a very long time, way before the city became so crowded and noisy. The people working here mostly just try to keep everything running as it should. There is always something that needs to be fixed or a bit of the garden that needs tending because the grounds are just so large. We see a lot of people coming through the doors, some for big events and others who are just staying for a night or two. It can be a bit of a maze if you aren't used to the layout of the buildings. The architecture has that old style that you don’t see much of in the newer parts of town. We spend a lot of time making sure the rooms are ready and the hallways stay clean. It is a lot of walking for the staff every day. Sometimes it feels like you are in a completely different world once you step inside from the busy street outside. We aren’t the newest hotel in Bangalore, but the place has its own feel. The kitchen stays busy almost all the time, especially in the evening hours. We just go about our work and try to keep things quiet.
