The Shelton Grand

The Shelton Grand is located at 73 Mahatma Gandhi Road, right near the Srirm Mandirar. Being on Mahatma Gandhi Road in the 560001 area means we are right in the middle of a very busy stretch. It’s a loud street, and you can hear the horns and people talking even from inside the lobby most of the time. Our building is one of those places that has a lot of foot traffic passing by the front doors from morning until night. We spend most of our time managing the rooms and talking to the people who are visiting. It’s a big job keeping everything running at number 73. We don't have a lot of polished brochures or corporate speeches. We just tell people where the rooms are and how to get around the local streets. The staff here works hard, often staying late when the place is full. We deal with all the normal stuff that comes with an older city hotel, like fixing the pipes or making sure the lights stay on. The lobby furniture is comfortable but it’s definitely seen some use. We like it that way because it feels more like a real place and less like a fancy showroom. We’ve been part of this road for a long time now. We see the same shopkeepers every morning when we open up the main doors. It’s a little community, and we just play our part by keeping the rooms ready.
