The Prince National

You can find The Prince National at number 30, right across from Ganesh Bhavan on RC Dutt Road. We are in the Alkapuri area, specifically in Narasimharaja Colony. It’s a lively part of the city to be in. Being opposite a landmark like Ganesh Bhavan makes it easier for people to find us, though the street name can be confusing for some. We’ve been here for a good while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Our shop is pretty straightforward. We don't have any flashy lights or big signs. It’s just a solid place where we do our work every day. The morning starts with opening the locks and getting the air moving in the shop because it can get quite stuffy. We have a few chairs for visitors, but mostly it’s a space meant for getting things done. The traffic on RC Dutt Road is almost always there, so we’ve gotten used to the sound of horns and engines all day long. Sometimes we stand outside just to watch the people go by. It is a very local vibe here. We know the other shop owners and we help each other out when someone needs a tool or just a hand with something heavy. It’s not a complicated life we lead here, just steady work and making sure we stay on top of things as best as we can without any fuss.
