The Paramount Hotel,Bangalore

Our place, The Paramount Hotel, is tucked away in the KHB Colony in Koramangala’s 5th Block. Being near Jyoti Nivas College means there’s always a lot of energy on the streets around us. Students are always walking past, and there are plenty of cafes and small shops nearby. We’re located at 125/A, and it’s a spot we’ve become very familiar with over the years. Running a hotel in Bangalore is never really boring because you meet so many different people from different places. Some are here for work in the tech parks, and others are just visiting friends for the weekend. We spend a lot of our day-to-day life just managing the basics. That means checking the laundry, making sure the kitchen is stocked, and talking to the guests who sit in the lobby. The building has its own quirks, like a door that might creak a bit or a stairwell that needs a new coat of paint soon. We don’t try to act like we’re some kind of fancy five-star palace. We’re just a local hotel trying to provide a solid place to stay in a very busy part of town. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it hard for people to find our entrance, but once they get inside, it’s a bit calmer. We like being part of the 5th Block community and seeing the same shopkeepers every morning when we open up.
