The Oterra Hotel

The Oterra Hotel is located over at No 96 in the KSRTC Layout. This is in the Chikalasandra area, near the Subramanyapura Post in Bangalore. It’s a bit of a residential spot, so it’s not as loud as the city center, which is something people seem to like. We have been here for a while and the building is easy to spot once you get into the layout. We spend our days managing the rooms and making sure everything is clean and ready for whoever is coming to stay. It’s a lot of routine stuff like checking the laundry and making sure the kitchen has what it needs. We don’t have a massive team, just a few of us who handle the front desk and the housekeeping. Sometimes things break or the plumbing acts up, and we have to call the local repairman to come take a look. It’s just how it goes with buildings. We try to keep the place tidy and welcoming without being too over the top. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, and there are some small shops nearby where we get our daily supplies. We don't really do much advertising. Most of our work is just staying on top of the guest list and making sure the rooms are in good shape. It’s a steady job and we’ve gotten to know a lot of the regulars who come through. Every day is a bit different depending on who checks in, but the work itself stays pretty much the same for us.
