The Oberoi Hotel

We are based at 8, 4th Cross in S.V.G Nagar, Bangalore : 40. It’s a decent neighborhood and we’ve been part of it for a long time. Our building isn't a new one, but we take care of it as best as we can. We spend our days making sure the rooms are tidy and the guests have what they need. It’s mostly just the basics—clean sheets, a working shower, and a quiet place to sleep. We have a small staff here, and most of us have lived in Bangalore for years. We don't go for those big corporate slogans or fancy promises. We just show up, do the laundry, and check people in. The street can be a bit busy during the day, but it’s usually quiet enough at night for a good rest. We have a kitchen where we prepare simple meals for the guests. Sometimes things break or the water pressure is a bit low, and we just fix it as fast as we can. It’s not about being the grandest place in the city, it’s just about being a reliable place for people to stay. We have a lot of regular guests who come back because they like the familiar faces here. It’s a straightforward business and we don't try to make it seem like more than it is. We’re just local people running a hotel in our own way.
