The Oberoi (Eih Limited)

We are based out of E-105 in the Wilson Manor Apartments. It’s on 11/3, 13th Cross in Wilson Garden, Bangalore. Being in an apartment block makes things feel a bit different than a standard office building. You see the same people every day, neighbors coming and going with their groceries or walking their dogs. Our space at The Oberoi (Eih Limited) is basically where the paperwork and the behind-the-scenes stuff happens. It’s not a grand hotel lobby here, just a bunch of desks in an apartment setup. We have to keep the noise down sometimes so we don't bother the residents living next door. The 13th Cross is a decent enough area, though parking can be a real headache if you come at the wrong time of day. We spend a lot of our time on emails and spreadsheets. The fans hum all day and we usually have a window open to get some air, even if the Bangalore traffic noise comes in with it. It’s a practical way to work. We don’t have fancy paintings on the walls or a receptionist at a big marble desk. It’s just us doing the administration and keeping track of the business side of things. It feels like a regular house inside, just with more computers and filing cabinets. Sometimes we order food from the small shops nearby for lunch. It’s a steady routine and we've gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood over the years. We just keep at it.
