The Leela Palace

You can find us at number 12, Dasappa Garden, which is on the 6th Main road in Sharadambha Nagar. It’s in the Jalahalli area of Bangalore, quite a distance from the more famous hotel that shares our name. This is more of an administrative office set in a quiet residential neighborhood. There are actual gardens and trees around us, which makes for a peaceful walk when we arrive in the morning. The building is a simple structure, and we occupy a portion of it for our daily tasks. We deal with the background operations and some of the support work for The Leela Palace. Most of us take the bus or ride scooters to get here. The office inside is mostly filled with filing cabinets and a few rows of desks. We don't have a big sign outside, so people sometimes miss the gate if they aren't looking closely. We share our lunch in a small room at the back, and usually, someone brings sweets to share. It’s a very calm atmosphere compared to the city center. We spend a lot of time on the computer or organizing documents that come in from the main properties. It is a humble place to work, and we like it that way because it's less stressful. We just keep things moving smoothly from this side of town and try to finish our work before the evening rush starts.
