The Leela Palace Bangalore

We are located on 4th Cross in Kodihalli, right by the Airport Road here in Bangalore. It’s a very well-known part of town, so most people don't have a hard time finding where we are. Even though it's a big place, the day-to-day work is just about keeping things running. We have a lot of staff coming in for different shifts, from the kitchen crew to the people handling the rooms and the grounds. It’s a 24-hour operation, so the lights are always on and there is always something that needs fixing or cleaning. The traffic on Airport Road is usually a mess, which is something we talk about a lot during our breaks. We don’t really use fancy scripts when we talk to each other; it’s just about getting the tasks finished so the guests stay happy. The building itself is quite large and takes a lot of effort to maintain. We’ve got people who have worked here for years and some who just started last week. It’s a mix of all sorts of backgrounds. We just try to keep the place looking decent and making sure everyone knows what they're supposed to be doing. It’s busy, often loud in the back areas, and there is never a dull moment. We just go about our business in the 560008 zip code area and try to stay organized through the chaos.
