The Hotel Prabha International

We have been here at 15th Cross in Bangalore for a while now. It's a busy spot in the 4th Main area. People usually find us when they need a place to stay that isn't too complicated. We just run the hotel day to day. It’s a basic building at 76/7. Most of the folks who come through are just looking for a room that works. We don't have fancy lobbies or anything like that. Just the usual rooms and beds. Bangalore can get pretty loud, but our street stays okay most nights. If you are walking around Karnataka, you might see the sign. We keep things pretty simple here because that's how we like it. The staff is just a few of us who have been around the neighborhood for years. We know where the good food is nearby and which buses to take. Sometimes the elevator is a bit slow, but it gets you there. We try to keep the sheets clean and the water running. It's not a five-star place, just a regular hotel for regular people. We've seen the city change quite a bit from our corner. The traffic has definitely gotten worse lately. But the hotel stays the same. We open the doors early and close them late. There is always someone sitting at the desk if you need a key or have a question about the area. We just do our jobs and hope people have a decent night's sleep before they head back out.
