The Grand Ashok

We are up here on the second floor of Pramod Nilayam. If you know Malleshwaram, you know how busy 8th Main gets, especially in the mornings. The stairs can be a bit much if you aren’t used to them, but we’ve been here for a while now. It’s mostly just us doing our daily work in Sudendra Nagar. The building is older, but it stays relatively cool even when the sun is out. You can hear the traffic down below all day long. Sometimes the delivery guys have trouble finding the exact spot because the numbering on the street is a bit confusing. We just tell them to look for the landmark nearby. It’s not a fancy setup at all. We have some desks, a few chairs, and the usual office stuff scattered around. Most days go by pretty fast. There’s a tea stall just a short walk away where we usually head out in the afternoon to get a break. People in the building are friendly enough, mostly just neighbors minding their own business. We don't have a big sign outside or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we get things done. The pincode 560003 covers a lot of ground, but this little corner is where you’ll find us. We’ve grown used to the sounds of the neighborhood. It feels like home to us by now, even with the dusty windows and the noisy fans during the summer months.
