The Chancery Pavilion

You can find us at Residency Road Kumbarpet Main Road 135. This is a very large building situated in one of the busiest parts of the city. The traffic outside on Residency Road is almost always heavy, so it feels like you have entered a different world once you step inside the lobby. We have a lot of different rooms and halls that we have to look after every day. It takes a lot of people to keep a place of this size running without things falling apart. We have engineers, cooks, cleaners, and office staff all working at the same time. Most of our day is spent making sure the schedules are being followed and that the events in the halls are going okay. It involves a lot of walking back and forth through the long corridors. The carpets have to be vacuumed constantly, and the glass doors are always being polished to keep them clear. We do not use a lot of fancy words to describe the work we do here. It is just a large hotel where we try our best to keep things moving. We handle hundreds of suitcases and a lot of different requests every single day. Some days are much more stressful than others, especially when there is a big wedding happening. We just take it one task at a time. (248 words)
