Testing Engineer

We are over in Gunjur, Bangalore 87. My name is Manjunath, and I’ve set up this testing engineer business here at my place. Gunjur is growing fast these days, but it still has that local feel to it. I spend most of my time in the workshop area I built. It’s not a corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where I handle engineering tests for various projects. Sometimes neighbors stop by to see what I’m working on. It gets a little noisy when the machines are running, but nobody seems to mind too much. I’ve lived in this part of Bangalore for a long time, so I know most of the people around here. My work is pretty simple in its own way—I check things to make sure they aren't broken. If they are, I figure out why. It takes a lot of patience. Some days are very long, especially when a particular test takes hours to finish. I don't use a lot of big words or try to act like I know everything. I just know my job. The Gunjur post office is nearby, which makes it easy for shipping things back and forth. It’s just a one-man show mostly, and I like it that way. You get to see the results of your work immediately. It's honest work and it keeps the lights on and the bills paid. I plan to keep doing this as long as there is stuff to test.
