We've been at Krishna Towers for a good while now. It’s a busy spot in Gandhinagar, and our small space at S-8 is usually packed with bags of nuts. Most days start with checking the stock that came in overnight. We spend a lot of time sorting through things because you can't just sell whatever comes off the truck. The smell of roasted peanuts usually fills the hallway outside our door. Sometimes the lift in this building acts up, so we end up carrying sacks up the stairs, which is quite a workout. We focus on the basics like cashews, almonds, and groundnuts. People from around the neighborhood drop by mostly in the evenings. It’s not a fancy place at all. The shelves are just plain wood, and there’s always a bit of dust from the shells. We keep a ledger on the desk to track everything. Sometimes we run out of the popular stuff faster than we expect, and then we have to wait for the next delivery. It’s just how it goes here. My cousin helps out with the packing when things get hectic. We try to keep the prices fair so folks keep coming back. It is just a simple operation run by a few of us who know a thing or two about what makes a good nut. We don't do much advertising, mostly just people telling their neighbors about us. We’re just here working every day and making sure the bags are filled right.
