Kola Brothers

You can find Kola Brothers right next to the Okalipuram Mosque on 2nd Main Road. We’ve been in this spot in Chiranjeevi Layout for years. Kempapura Okalipuram is a busy area, especially on Fridays. Our building is number 37232, and it’s pretty easy to spot once you get onto the main road. There are a few of us brothers running the place, and we've basically grown up in this neighborhood. We do a bit of everything here, depending on what the day brings. The office is usually a bit cluttered with papers and old ledgers, but we know where everything is. It’s a family thing, so we argue a bit about how to do things, but we always get it finished. The mosque next door is a good landmark for people who haven't visited us before. Sometimes the traffic on 2nd Main Road gets backed up, so we usually tell people to come early if they can. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in town, we just want to keep things ticking over. There's a small tea stall nearby where we spend our breaks and talk to the neighbors. It’s just a normal business in a normal neighborhood. We’ve known most of the people on this street since we were kids. It’s a comfortable place to work every day. We hope to stay here for a long time yet because this community is where we belong and where our family history is deeply rooted.
