Taj Westend Hotel

Our place is at No.23 on Race Course Road. It is one of those spots in 560001 that feels a bit tucked away even though the road is busy. Taj Westend Hotel has been around for a long time, and the trees here are probably older than most of us. We spend a lot of time just keeping the grounds looking okay. It is a big property, and there is always a leaf to sweep or a lightbulb that needs changing somewhere. The staff here is like a big family, some have been here for decades. We do not have a fancy script for when people arrive, we just say hello and help them with their bags. The air feels a bit different once you get inside the gates at No.23. It is quieter than the rest of the city. We have seen the city grow up around us, with new buildings going up all the time. Sometimes we miss how things used to be, but we like having the new neighbors too. People come here for all sorts of reasons, but mostly they just want a bit of peace. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It's just a hotel on a nice road with a lot of history in the walls. We work hard to make sure the place stays standing and stays welcoming for anyone who finds their way to Race Course Road. It takes a lot of effort to keep an old place like this running.
