Taj West End

We’ve been here at this spot in Bangalore for quite a long time now. Most people know the place because of all the old trees and the big garden areas we have around the buildings. It's funny because outside the gates, the city is just rushing by with all the traffic and noise you expect in 560001, but once you step inside, it really settles down. We have a lot of staff who have worked here for years, and they know every corner of the property. It's not a small place, covering about twenty acres or so, so there is always something to look after or a plant that needs watering. We aren't just about the rooms; it's more about the history of the ground itself. You can see it in the way the pathways are laid out and the style of the buildings. Sometimes when it rains, the smell of the wet earth is the first thing you notice. People come here when they want to get away from the modern glass buildings for a bit. We just keep things running day to day, making sure the lawns are tidy and the history stays intact for whoever walks through the door. It’s a lot of work to keep a place this old looking right, but we enjoy the pace of it. We are just over by the race course, tucked away behind the greenery.
