Taj Vivanta Hotel

Taj Vivanta Hotel is situated over in Whitefield ITBP. It’s a big building and we have a lot of rooms to look after. The staff here stays busy 24 hours a day. We have people coming in from all over for work stuff. Since we are in the ITBP area, it’s always crowded with cars and people in suits. We spend a lot of time cleaning the lobby and making sure the rooms are ready for the next guest. It’s a lot of coordination between the different floors. Sometimes things break and we have to fix them fast. The kitchen is always running because people get hungry at odd hours. We don’t really do much talking about ourselves. We just show up and do the work. The elevators are always moving. It can be a bit stressful when a big group arrives all at once. We’ve got a lot of windows to wash too. Whitefield is a fast place so we have to keep up. We try to keep the lights on and the water running smoothly. It’s just a hotel like any other, just bigger. We see a lot of travelers who look tired. We just give them their keys and let them rest. That’s the main thing we do here every day and night. We don't really have time for anything else besides the chores and the guest lists.
