Taj Residency

Taj Residency is located at 100/O8 in the Ulsoor area of Bangalore. We are over on G Street Main, specifically in the Jougupalaya neighborhood. The building is part of Lakshmana Reddy’s property, so that is how most locals identify the place. It is a busy part of the city, with a lot of old houses and narrow streets. Our place is not one of those huge five-star hotels you see in the magazines. It is more of a local residency where people come when they need a place to stay for a few days in Bangalore. The 560008 pin code area is quite central, so guests like it because they can get to other parts of town fairly easily from the Ulsoor side. We have several rooms and we try to keep them clean and ready for whoever shows up. It’s a bit of an older building, but it has a lot of character. You can hear the sounds of the street during the day, which is just part of living in this part of Bangalore. We do not have fancy uniforms or a big lobby. It is more like a family-run guest house atmosphere. We see a lot of people coming in for work or to visit relatives nearby. Lakshmana Reddy is often around the premises, making sure things are moving along as they should be. It is a simple life here and we like the neighbors. We just keep things running.
