Taj Recidency

We are located at the Appayan Bengali Mess in Bangalore, Karnataka. The address might seem a bit confusing to some, but we are right here in the mix of things. It is a place where a lot of people come for a taste of home, especially if they are from back east. The building has its quirks, like the way the light hits the hallway in the afternoon or the sound of the rain on the roof during monsoon season. We don't really go for the polished look because we are too busy actually running the place. There is always someone in the kitchen or someone coming in to ask about a room. We try to keep things friendly and relaxed because life in Bangalore can be pretty stressful with the commute and the pace of everything. We have a lot of regular faces who have been staying with us or eating here for months. It feels more like a big house than a business sometimes. We don't have any big slogans or goals other than making sure everyone gets fed and has a decent place to sleep. The furniture is a bit older and the walls could probably use some fresh paint, but it feels lived in. We spend our time managing the daily needs of the mess and making sure the residency side of things stays quiet at night. It is just how we do things here and we have been doing it this way for a while.
