Taj Group Of Hotels

The Taj Group Of Hotels has a place out here in Kothannur, which is a bit of a quieter part of Bangalore compared to the middle of town. Our address is simply Kothannur P.O., and we are surrounded by a lot of greenery and some newer housing developments. It is a different pace of life than what you find in the busier parts of Karnataka. I work in the back office where we handle all the behind-the-scenes stuff that keeps things running. The office is pretty standard with grey desks and computers that hum all day long. We have a view of some trees and a small garden, which is a nice break for the eyes when we have been staring at screens for too long. People think working for a big name is all glamour, but for us, it is mostly about making sure the records are right and the supplies are ordered. We wear our uniforms and try to stay neat, even when it is humid outside. The staff room is small and we usually share stories about our families while we eat our tiffins. We see a lot of people coming and going, and we just try to do our part to keep everything moving smoothly. It is a steady job and we have a good routine that starts every morning when the sun comes up. Usually, the evening shift people arrive just as we are finishing our paperwork and getting ready to catch the bus home.
