Sytech Engineering Pvt Ltd is down at 125 Binny Mill Road in the Cotton Pet area of Bangalore. This part of the city is really old and can be very crowded during the middle of the day. The roads are thin and there are always people moving about with carts or scooters. Our building is an older one, too. It has that solid feel to it, even if the paint is peeling in a few spots near the entrance. We do a lot of heavy lifting and engineering tasks here. The air is often filled with the sound of grinding metal or the hum of the big machines. It’s a busy place. We have a lot of stuff stored in the corners—old pipes, metal sheets, and boxes of bolts. It’s not the most organized looking place in the world, but we know where everything is kept. Cotton Pet is a very active market area, so there is always some noise and shouting coming from the street. Lunch usually comes from one of the small food stalls nearby because nobody here has much time to cook. We start our day early in the morning before the traffic gets too bad. By the time we leave for home, the sun is usually down and the street lights are starting to flicker on. It’s hard work, but it’s what we’ve always done. We don't have a big marketing team; we just rely on people knowing we’re here.
