Swethadri Associates

Swethadri Associates is over at Basaveshwara Nagar 10. It’s a ground-floor office in a street that has a lot of trees, which keeps it a bit cooler. We have been at this address for a long time. The office is pretty basic. We have a few desks, some chairs that have been around since we started, and a lot of cabinets for all our files. We do administrative and associate work, which involves a lot of reading and writing. It’s not very exciting work, but it’s important to the people we help. We have a small ceiling fan that wobbles a bit when it’s on high. We’ve talked about fixing it but never got around to it. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it’s pretty quiet except for the occasional delivery truck. We know the neighbors and often chat with them in the mornings. We don't have a big corporate structure. We just work together and get things done. Sometimes we stay a little late to finish up some urgent paperwork. We have a small kettle for making coffee and we usually have some biscuits in the drawer. It’s a very simple way of working. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. We just want to do our jobs at number 10 and keep things moving along. It’s a steady pace and it suits us just fine. We’ve been here long enough that it feels like home.
