Asst Steward

You can find us over at Javahar Navadaya Vidhlaya in Bagalur, Bangalore. S. Bharathreddy and the rest of the team work out of this spot, specifically under the care of S.T. Anasuya. It is a bit of a specific location within the school area. We handle steward duties and general assistance around the place. Being in Bangalore, you would expect something high-tech, but our daily life is very grounded. We are mostly focused on the day-to-day needs of the facility. It involves a lot of walking around and checking on things. The office space we use is small and tucked away. It has got an old desk, some plastic chairs, and a lot of notebooks where we keep our logs. We do not have air conditioning, so we keep the windows open to catch the breeze. Sometimes the monkeys from the trees nearby come close to the windows and look in. It is not a corporate environment at all. We are just staff members trying to keep the place running smoothly for everyone else. We do not have big meetings or presentations. We just get our instructions in the morning and spend the rest of the day getting our hands dirty with work. It is a quiet kind of work compared to the city center, and we prefer it that way. We just do our bit and go home when the sun sets.
