Suvarna Dry Fruits

Our little shop, Suvarna Dry Fruits, is tucked into Vignana Nagar at Manjalpur Township 306. It is a quiet area mostly, which we like because it lets us focus on what we’re doing without too much noise. We spend hours every week opening big sacks of nuts and dried fruits to make sure they look right. We have these glass jars lined up on the counter, and we spend a lot of time polishing them so people can see what is inside. The air in here smells sweet and a bit earthy, like raisins and almonds. We have a set of scales that we use all day long, weighing out small bags for the people who live nearby. The floor is made of old tiles that have a few cracks in them, but they’ve held up well. We don’t have any big signs or loud music playing. It is just the sound of the bags crinkling and the occasional car passing by outside. Sometimes the kids from the township come in after school just to look at the colorful dried pieces. We have a wooden stool behind the counter where we sit when things get slow. It’s a peaceful way to spend the day, just handling the products and talking to the regulars who come in every week. We keep everything simple and hope that people find what they need without any fuss.
