Supriya Electronics is a small shop located in Rajajinagar 6th Block. We are on the 2nd Cross at 12/53/30/1. The address looks complicated on paper but we are right there on the corner. I have been fixing electronics here for a long time. The shop is filled with old TVs, broken radios, and boxes of spare components. I usually have a soldering iron in my hand for most of the day. There is a smell of burnt solder that lingers in the air. People from the nearby streets bring in their gadgets when they stop working. I don't always have the parts right away, so things sometimes sit on the shelf for a week or two. It is a one-man show mostly, though my nephew helps with the heavy lifting sometimes. The workbench is a bit of a disaster, piled high with tools and screws. I don't have a computer to track things; I just write it down in a big ledger book. It’s an old-fashioned way of doing things but it works for me. The light from the front door is the best spot to sit and look at small circuit boards. I’ve seen technology change a lot over the years, from big tube TVs to these thin ones, but the basics of fixing them are still pretty much the same. Most people know me by name now.
