Suhas Granite

Suhas Granite is located at 43, Victoria Layout. We are very close to Garuda Mall, so the traffic is always a bit of a nightmare, especially on the weekends. I have been working here for years, and I’ve seen the whole neighborhood change around us. What used to be a quiet street is now full of cars and people rushing to the shops. Our shop is quite small, so we have to be very careful about how we stack the granite. If you put one in the wrong place, you can’t get to any of the others. I spend a lot of time sweeping the floor because the granite dust gets everywhere, even in my tea. Customers usually walk in after they’ve been to the mall, just looking for a piece of stone for a vanity top or a small shelf. I don't have any fancy sales talk for them. I just show them what we have and tell them the price. Sometimes the slabs have small cracks or chips, and I have to point those out so there are no surprises later. It’s a bit cramped and the lighting isn’t great, but it’s home for me. We just try to keep things simple and help people find a decent piece of stone without too much fuss. It is a basic operation, but we have been here a long time and people know where to find us.
