Sudharshan & Co

We are located at 110/2 on the 4th Main Road of the APMC Yard in Yeshwantpur. Working in the yard means our day starts much earlier than most people’s. By the time the sun is up, we’ve usually been here for a couple of hours already. Sudharshan & Co is mostly about the movement of goods. There are always trucks backing in or pulling out, and the sound of loaders is constant. Our office is a simple room with a couple of desks and a lot of ledgers. It gets dusty because of all the activity in the yard, but we don't mind. It’s the nature of the business. We deal with various supplies and the paperwork that follows them. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s an important one. We’ve been in Yeshwantpur for a long time and have seen the market grow and change. The people we work with are mostly other traders and drivers. We value a person’s word more than a fancy contract. We eat our lunch quickly because there is always another delivery to check or a bill to settle. It’s a fast-paced environment and you have to keep your wits about you. That’s just life in the APMC. We keep the doors open through most of the daylight hours and only wind down once the heavy traffic starts to thin out. There is always something to count or move, and we prefer it that way.
