Su Kam Power Systems

You can find us over at Chamrajpet on B S Road, specifically at number 75. Su Kam Power Systems isn't one of those big, shiny showrooms you see in the malls. It’s more of a workspace where we deal with batteries, inverters, and all that power stuff. The building is older, and the stairs are a bit narrow, but it serves us well enough for what we do. We spend a lot of our time moving heavy equipment around, so there’s usually a bit of dust on our clothes by noon. It’s a busy street, and parking can be a real headache, which we always tell people before they come over. We’ve been doing this for a while now, and we’ve learned that things rarely go exactly to plan. A battery might be heavier than it looks, or a circuit might be more fried than we thought when we first opened it up. We just take it as it comes. There’s a small window in the back that looks out over the neighborhood, and that’s where we take our breaks. It’s just a handful of us here, and we don't bother with corporate talk. We talk to people like they are our neighbors because they usually are. We stay open until late most nights because that’s when people realize their power backup isn't working right. It’s tiring work, but it keeps us busy.
