Stray Field Granites

We are located over on Park Road in Malleshwaram. This part of town has a specific feel to it, especially with the park nearby where people walk in the evenings. We deal with granites, so our space is often filled with heavy slabs and the sound of them being moved around. It’s not the quietest business to be in, that’s for sure. Malleshwaram is an old area with a lot of history, and we like being part of the local scene here. The granite business involves a lot of looking at textures and colors all day long. Some days are busier than others, depending on who's building a new house or renovating nearby. We’ve been on this road for quite some time now. The stone gets very heavy, and moving it takes some real patience and a lot of muscle. We spend our time showing people the different types of granite slabs we have in stock. It’s dusty work, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. There’s something solid and real about working with stone. We don't have a flashy showroom with air conditioning, just a place where the slabs are kept and where we can sit and talk. The trees on Park Road give a bit of shade, which is really nice in the afternoon heat. It’s a simple setup we’ve got here, and we just focus on the granite and making sure everything is handled properly.
