Stone Needs

Stone Needs is over on Cunningham Cross Road at number 354. We are right by the Devar Power House, which is a landmark most people in the area know. It is a narrow enough street and it can get jammed up with cars and bikes during the rush. We have our stones set up where we can show them to anyone who stops in. The power house hums a bit in the background sometimes. Working with stone means your hands are always a bit rough and there is always a layer of grey dust on the floor. We do not mind it much. It is the trade we are in. People come to us when they are doing up their bathrooms or kitchens. We just show them what we have on the racks. It is a very hands-on job. There is not a lot of sitting around. Between the deliveries coming in and the customers asking about different types of granite, the day goes by fast. We have been at this Cunningham Cross location for a good bit of time. It is a central spot, so we see all sorts of people. We do not try to act like a big corporation. We are just a local business trying to do the work right. The stone arrives, we check it, and then it goes out to someone's house. That is the whole cycle for us. We just keep our heads down and work.
