Starwood Asia Pacific Hotels Resorts Pte Ltd

Our office is located at 711/135 Brigade Towers on Brigade Road. This is where we handle the administrative side of things for Starwood Asia Pacific. It’s a regular office building, so it’s mostly desks, computers, and a lot of paperwork piled up. We aren't a hotel ourselves, but we do the behind-the-scenes work that keeps things moving for the properties in the region. The building is quite well-known in Bangalore since it’s right there on Brigade Road. Most of us spend our day on the phone or answering emails. It’s not the most exciting work in the world, but it’s necessary for the hotels to function properly. We have a small break room where we get our tea and talk about how bad the traffic was on the way in. The office is a bit crowded with files and boxes sometimes, especially when we are doing year-end reports. We don't have a fancy reception area with expensive flowers, just a desk where people sign in. Being in a tall building means we get a decent view of the city, which is nice to look at when things get a bit stressful. We’ve been in this unit for several years now. We know the security guards and the other people working in the towers quite well. It feels like a little community inside the building. We just come in, do our shifts, and head home like everyone else in the city. There isn't much to see if you're just visiting, it's just a workplace.
