Srinidhi Granites Private Limited

We spend a lot of time here on the 4th floor of Srinidhi Towers on Bannerghatta Road. It’s been our base for a while now. Dealing with granite is heavy work. People think it is just about pretty stone, but it is mostly about logistics and making sure the slabs do not crack during transport. We have our desks set up here and the phones ring a lot. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, but we make do. Our staff knows the names of all the different stones by heart. We do not have a fancy showroom with bright lights, just the office and a lot of paperwork. Bannerghatta Road is always crowded, so getting here in the morning takes some patience. We mostly just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the trucks are loaded correctly. It is dusty work sometimes, even in an office setting. We have seen the area change a lot since we started. There are more buildings now and the traffic got worse, but we are still in the same spot at No.17. We keep things simple. If someone needs granite for a floor or a kitchen, they come up to the fourth floor and we talk about what is available in the yard. It is not a glamorous job, just honest labor with stone that has been around longer than any of us. We just keep moving forward one day at a time.
