Sri Vishnu Granites

Out here in Doddakallasandra, things stay pretty busy at Sri Vishnu Granites. We are set up at Siddhant Siddhi Niwas on Bapista Road 19. It’s a bit of a trek for some people, but we’ve been at this spot long enough that most locals know the way. The yard is full of heavy slabs. You’ll see us moving stones around with the crane most mornings. It's loud and there is always a bit of grit in the air, but that is the nature of working with granite. We don’t have a big fancy office with air conditioning. Usually, we just sit out front or in the small shed when we need to do paperwork. The rain sometimes makes the yard a bit of a mess, so we have to watch where we step. People come by to pick out a specific color or just to see what size slabs we have left from the last load. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around, just consistent. Bapista Road can get crowded with traffic, so we try to get the loading done early before the trucks get stuck. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and making sure things don’t crack. We’ve had the same crew for a while now, and everyone knows their job. It’s just us doing what we know how to do with the stone.
