Sri V. R. Export Quality Granites

We have been running the yard here at Kachohalli Grama for quite a while now. It is right on Magadi Main Road, pretty close to Vani School Road. If you are driving by, you probably see the slabs stacked up outside. My family and a few workers spend most of the day moving stones around and showing people what we have in stock. We deal mostly with export quality granites. It gets pretty dusty here especially when the wind picks up or when trucks come in to load up for deliveries. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. People just walk in, look at the colors, and we talk about what they need for their floors or counters. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a break. It's hard work because these slabs are heavy and you have to be careful not to chip the edges. We keep the gate open most days from morning until it gets dark. Most of our customers are locals building houses nearby, but we get people from further away too. It is just a regular business where we try to keep things moving. We’ve got different types of stones, some darker, some lighter, depending on what the quarry sends us. It is a bit loud with the traffic on the main road, but we are used to it by now. Just look for the big sign near the school road turn. It is just a normal place.
