About Sri Tirupathi Granites – Building & Construction Material in Bengaluru
Our yard at No. 26/1, Bannerghatta Road is hard to miss if you’re driving near the Mico Factory. Sri Tirupathi Granites is basically an open space filled with massive slabs of stone leaning against each other. It’s a heavy, dusty environment, and your shoes will definitely get dirty if you walk around for more than five minutes. We spend our days moving these giant pieces around with a forklift and cutting them down to size for whoever needs them. The noise from the road and the nearby factory is pretty constant, so we end up shouting to hear each other sometimes. We don’t have a polished showroom with fancy lighting. People just come to the yard, walk through the rows of granite, and point at the colors they like. Most of our time is spent loading trucks or measuring out dimensions for kitchen tops and flooring. It’s physically demanding work and your back definitely feels it by the end of the day. We have a small tin-roofed office where we keep the ledger and take payments, but most of the action happens outside under the sun. It’s an honest way to make a living, dealing with natural stone that lasts forever. We don’t bother with big sales pitches. The stone is what it is, and we just help people get it to their houses.
