Sri Rama Battery Point

Our place is called Sri Rama Battery Point and you can find us over by the Bangalore GPO area, specifically at Khetwadi 28/B. We deal with all kinds of batteries, mostly for cars, motorcycles, and those big UPS units people have at home for when the power goes out. The shop is full of heavy black boxes and the smell of lead and acid is just something you get used to after a while. It is not a glamorous job. We spend a lot of time lifting heavy things and checking voltages with our meters. When someone’s car will not start, they come to us looking a bit stressed, and we try to get them sorted out as fast as we can. Sometimes we have to go out to help someone jump-start a vehicle nearby if they are stuck. The shop itself is pretty functional—sturdy shelves, a big workbench for charging, and not much else. Khetwadi is a busy little pocket, and we have been at this address for quite a bit. We do not use any fancy marketing talk or try to sell you things you do not need. If a battery is dead, it is dead, and we will tell you if it can be recharged or if you need a new one. It is a practical business for a practical need. Rain or shine, we are usually here surrounded by batteries, just doing the work that needs to be done to keep things running.
