You can find Sri Om Plastic at 87 TCM Royan Road. It’s more of a warehouse feel here than a shop. We have stacks of plastic goods piled up nearly to the ceiling in some places. The air always has that specific smell of new plastic and cardboard boxes. It’s a pretty big space, but it’s so full of inventory that you have to be careful where you walk so you don't trip over a crate or a bundle of bags. We’ve got a heavy metal shutter at the front that we roll up every morning, and it makes a loud noise that the neighbors are probably tired of hearing by now. Most of our day is spent unloading trucks or loading up smaller tempos that come to pick up orders. We don't have a fancy office; it’s just a desk in the corner with an old computer and a lot of logbooks. There’s always dust on everything because of the trucks moving in and out of the yard. We drink tea from the local stall about three times a day, usually sitting on some of the sturdier crates while we take a break. It’s hard work, especially when the weather is humid and the plastic gets sticky, but we’ve been doing it for a long time. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a showroom. We just move the stock and make sure the orders are ready on time.
