Sri Nanjundeshwara Battery House

We have been running Sri Nanjundeshwara Battery House over here in Rajajinagar 59th Cross for a good while now. The shop is located right at 772/4 near Bashyam Circle, which is always a busy spot with all the traffic moving toward the 5th Block. It is not a very big place, just a regular shop filled with stacks of heavy batteries and some tools lying around on the floor. Most days, it is just us dealing with people who walk in because their car or scooter stopped working suddenly. The air inside always has that slightly sharp smell of metal and acid, but we are used to it by now. We spend most of our time testing old batteries or showing people which new ones might fit their vehicles. It gets quite loud outside with the horns and the buses, but inside we just focus on the work at hand. Sometimes the shelves get a bit dusty because of the road work outside, but we try to keep the actual stock clean enough. There are no fancy chairs or air conditioning here, just a simple counter where we sit and talk to the regulars who live around Rajajinagar. It is a straightforward kind of life, opening the shutters in the morning and closing up late in the evening. We know most of the other shopkeepers on this street, so it feels like a small community even with all the noise of the city going on around us.
