Sri Manjunatha Granites

Sri Manjunatha Granites is over at 319 Sunkadakatte, not far from Magadi Road. We’ve got a yard where we keep all the granite pieces and slabs we work with. It's a bit of a rough-and-ready place, mostly because of the nature of the stone business. There is usually some water on the floor from the cutting saws and plenty of stone dust in the air. We don’t have a fancy showroom with air conditioning; it is just a workplace where the stone gets handled. Being near Magadi Road helps because it is a main route for transport. Most of our days are spent moving heavy slabs around with the crane or talking to contractors who need specific measurements. It’s a lot of physical work, and our hands are usually pretty dirty by the end of the shift. We’ve been in Sunkadakatte for a while, and folks around here know where we are. We don't really do much advertising; people just see the stacks of granite from the road or hear about us from someone else. If you come by, you’ll likely find us in the middle of a job. It’s a simple business, really. We get the stone in, cut it to what’s needed, and get it sent out. It’s loud and messy sometimes, but that is just how you work with granite. We stay busy and keep the yard moving as best as we can.
