Sri Manjunath Battery & Auto Electrical Works

At Sri Manjunath Battery & Auto Electrical Works, we are located over in Vidyaranyapura, near Patwardhan Baug. It’s a quiet enough area compared to the city center, but we stay busy with the local cars and bikes that need attention. The shop isn't very big, so we have to be careful about where we put everything. We have batteries lined up along one wall and a workbench that’s seen better days, covered in screwdrivers, pliers, and soldering irons. A lot of our time is spent looking for electrical leaks or fixing lights that won't turn on. It can be a bit frustrating when a wire is hidden away and hard to reach, but that’s the nature of the work we do. We get our hands dirty every single day, and there’s usually some grease under my fingernails that won't come out. We don’t have any fancy waiting lounge; people just hang around outside or chat with us while we work on their starters. The neighborhood knows us as the place to go when the self-start isn't working right. We keep a ledger to write down what we did and what parts we used, but most of it is just hands-on labor. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use torches to see what we are doing, but we manage. It’s a simple life running a repair shop, and we just take each job as it comes without making much of a fuss.
