Sri Manjunath Batteries & Auto Electrical Works

Sri Manjunath Batteries & Auto Electrical Works is located at Mahalakshmi Layout Elphiston Road 35 1. The shop is a small place where we spend most of the day dealing with car batteries and fixing electrical wires in different types of vehicles. The floor usually has some grease on it and there are old battery casings stacked in the corner near the back. It gets pretty noisy because of the traffic on Elphiston Road just outside the door, but we are used to that sound by now. We have been working out of this spot at number 35 1 for quite a while. Most people from the Mahalakshmi Layout area know us and stop by when their car won't start or when their lights are flickering. We have a wooden bench for people to sit on while they wait, but it is often covered with tools or some spare parts we are working on. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon, making it a bit warm inside, so we keep the fan running all the time. Our work is simple and repetitive, mostly just checking voltages and cleaning up terminals that have become messy. We start our day early and stay open until the street lights come on. It is not a fancy setup, just a regular workshop with the tools we need to get the job done for whoever walks in with a problem.
