Sri Mahalakshmi Granites

Our shop, Sri Mahalakshmi Granites, is located over at Plot No. 43 in Bank Colony. We are right on the Kanakapura Main Road, which makes it easy for people to find us, though the traffic can be a real headache sometimes. We deal with all sorts of stone slabs for floors and counters. It’s a lot of manual labor, lifting and shifting heavy materials every single day. The yard is usually full of different colors of stone. We spend most of our time measuring things and trying to make sure the cuts are what the customers asked for. It’s not a quiet place because the cutting machines make a lot of noise. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone like that. Usually, it's just one of us answering the phone while trying to load a truck at the same time. Sometimes we run out of a specific type of granite and have to wait for the next shipment to arrive. That’s just how it goes in this business. We try to be honest about what we have in stock. The neighbors in Bank Colony are used to us by now. It’s a straightforward operation here. We just focus on getting the stone ready and sent out to the sites. Nothing fancy, just hard work and a lot of stone dust everywhere around the place.
