Sri Balaji Granites & Marbles

We’ve been running Sri Balaji Granites & Marbles for a good while now over in the Selvam Industrial Estate. If you know Magadi Main Road, we’re right near the KHB Colony at number 105. It’s a busy area and there’s always a lot of dust because of all the stone cutting we do. Dealing with granite and marble is heavy work, honestly. Every morning we start by moving slabs around with the crane, trying not to chip anything. Some days it feels like we spend more time cleaning up stone dust than actually selling anything. The yard is usually full of different colors of stone, some from nearby and some from further away. People come in looking for stuff for their kitchens or floors, and we just show them what we have piled up. It isn’t a showroom with nice lights or anything, just a big open space where the material sits. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot since we moved in, but the industrial estate stays pretty much the same—lots of noise and trucks. Sometimes it’s hard to find a place to park near our gate because of the traffic on Magadi Road. We just keep our heads down and get the cutting and polishing done. If you're looking for us, look for the big stacks of stone near the KHB Colony turn-off. We're usually there from early morning until the sun goes down and we call it a day.
