Sri Balaji Commercial Corporation

Out here in Deepanjali Nagar 41609, things move at a different pace. Sri Balaji Commercial Corporation is basically a large warehouse space where we keep all the stock. It is dusty and the ceilings are high. We deal with a lot of heavy items, so there is always a bit of lifting and shifting going on. The floor is concrete and has some cracks from where we dropped heavy crates years ago. We don't have a reception desk or anything like that. Usually, if someone comes by, they just find us near the back loading dock. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking with suppliers and writing down orders in big ledgers. Computers are there but we still like the paper books for some reason. The neighborhood is mostly industrial, so there are trucks coming and going at odd hours. We have a small corner with a table and a few chairs where we eat our lunch. The tea here is always too sweet, but it helps when we have to stay late to finish a delivery. Deepanjali Nagar can get quite muddy when it rains, and we spend half the day mopping the floor. It’s not a glamorous job, just moving things from one place to another. We have been in this spot for a while and the landlord is decent. It’s just us doing the work and keeping the accounts straight every day. Most of the time it’s just quiet.
