Sri Adilakshmi Textiles

Sri Adilakshmi Textiles is located at 1056 Rajajinagar, specifically on the 5th Main in D Block, 2nd Stage. Rajajinagar is one of those older, established parts of the city where everyone kind of knows each other. Our shop isn't very large, but we try to keep a good variety of fabrics on the shelves. You’ll see rolls of cloth stacked up all the way to the ceiling in some parts. It can be a bit cramped when there are more than a few people inside. We’ve been at this 1056 address for many years. It's a simple place with some old tube lights and a few ceiling fans that work when they want to. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for a long time. They come in to touch the fabric and see the colors for themselves. We don't really do any advertising. People just find us by walking through the 5th Main. Sometimes the bells on the door ring all afternoon, and other times it's quiet enough to hear the neighborhood sounds outside. We spend our time measuring out meters of cloth and folding things back up. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have a fancy computer system; we usually just write things down by hand. It’s just how things have always been done here in this corner of Rajajinagar 2nd Stage.
